I have come across many individuals who are looking for a deeper meaning and purpose in their lives. They feel like something is missing, and they are not fully satisfied with their current reality.

THIS IS WHERE YAJNA COMES IN – THE ACT OF OFFERING AND SACRIFICE.

In Hinduism, it is a ritualistic act of worship that involves offering various substances into a holy fire, such as ghee, grains, flowers, and herbs, while reciting mantras and prayers.

This fire acts as a messenger to the gods and goddesses, and the offerings are a way of showing gratitude, seeking blessings, and purifying one’s soul and the environment as the ingredients used are organic and medical.
Yajna is always done for a greater good of humanity, it is never a selfish act.

But Yajna is not just an external ritual that takes place in a temple or a sacred space.

IT IS ALSO AN INTERNAL ONE THAT TAKES PLACE WITHIN ONESELF.
This is known as Antar-yajna, or the inner sacrifice.

It involves offering our thoughts, emotions, and actions as sacrifices to the divine or universal consciousness, and surrendering our ego and desires to serve a higher purpose.

To perform Antar-yajna, one must offer certain “AHUTIS” or “Offerings” within themselves. These offerings include letting go of attachment to material possessions or emotional sacrifices and focusing on serving the greater good and the universal consciousness.

It involves sacrificing or offering – one’s ego, anger, lust or attachment in the holy internal fire through various ways such as meditation, prayer, and self-reflection.
Through these offerings, individuals can achieve spiritual growth and inner peace, leading to a more fulfilling and meaningful life.

We are all performing Yajnas everyday internally, but we may not be aware of it. Every thought, emotion, and action that we take is an offering to the universe within and we are receiving something in return on a holistic level.

If we are not happy with what we have become or who we are, we need to check what Ahutis we are putting into our Yajna or our inner holy fire!
We need to be mindful of our thoughts, emotions, and actions, and make sure that they are aligned with our higher purpose and destiny.

As a spiritual coach, I encourage everyone to practice Antar-Yajna “consciously” and regularly, and make it a part of their daily routine.

It can be as simple as taking a few minutes in the morning to meditate, or practicing gratitude before going to bed or continuously being aware of your thoughts and intentions – they will add as an offering to your soul and sacred journey on earth.

Lots of Love,
